Have you had an e-mail from Sports Programmes? I put an offer in for a programme, and haven't heard anything back yet.

thanks for your reply YCFC1922. It's the first time I've put an offer in for a programme in this way. I did do it via e-mail, and provided my postal address, so hopefully in the next few days I'll get some good news via the post!

sure enough, I got my letter today, saying that I've been successful with my bid!

I'm not sure what to do now though - I've been given a blank label - I'm not sure what to do with it though?

Also, it says to include sufficent postage - how do I know how much to add to my bid for postage? It's just for a 1960s programme, so won't weigh much at all - would £1 be enough?

thanks kcs - do you know what I am supposed to do with the label? Is it to put my postal address on? Do I have to supply my own envelope?

Sorry for all the questions!

The blank label is for you to write your name and address on. They supply the envelope! And if it's just 1 programme, then 39p postage is required.

Rather than including £1 extra for the next catalogue why not visit their website? They have their normal fixed price and offers catalogues online.

Just picked up the England away in Germany from 2001 (the 1-5 win) for £8.25. Most dealers claims its worth £50-£75, however over the last year most have gone for around the £25 mark on ebay, so delighted to get one so cheap!!

Picked up a really nice programme yesterday. Man Utd away to GCC All Stars in Bahrain, 2 weeks after Alex Ferguson was appointed, mid season friendly. Read back to front, the printing of the programme itself isnt great, blue ink smudged around 2 edges, but the condition of the programme is great. £70 I was quoted,Got it for £45. Not the rarest ever, but glad to have it all the same!!
