I have a tock of 95% pre 1970 programmes - the only exceptions are for 1970 FACup and League Cup Finals, and European Finals, and Bradford Park Avenue 1970-74.
It's mainly pre 1960 (about a thousand all told including 200 plus 1940's)but I do take some 1960's stuff such as 60-1 FL Cup ties; non league in FA Cup proper (about 350 pre 1970 issues), Northern non league; Scottish League and cup (any particular teams please let me know in advance) pre league (up to Wimbledon only, including good stock of pre league 1940's Colchester, and 30 plus Oxford Utd pre 62-3) ex league (up to Southport only) internationals, etc. etc. There's a good selection of all kinds of programme, I hope.
Good memorabilia stock as well, including 120 plus club handbooks going back to 1909, 60 odd general handbooks such as Empire News, Charles Buchan from pre war to the early 1950's; complete set of ARAL German postcards from 1966 World Cup, mint and loose, including the two rare large team groups; Joe Mercers GB squad 1971, set of plastic head busts of British internationals of the day; Colne Dynamoes programmes and memorabilia from their last season of existence.
Other sports programmes including boxing, gee gees (Ascot etc) formula 1, sports car racing, rugby union, speedway (including mint World Cup Finals from very early 50's at Wembley)

i had a good day at pudsey, sold abit and picked up a few bits off other dealers.i finally got to meet fellow dealer auchinleckin and had a chat to him and met some more people off here including pompey gaz and rocky boro.
what got me was the amount of people from up north who travelled down to the fair just because there is no fair up north and this fair at pudsey is the closest fair for them
does any one else think its worth looking into starting fair up north somewhere? Confused

There's an annual fair at Durham F.C. but you're right, with the passion in the north eat there ought to be one or two more. Good to put a face to the name on Saturday.

The Pudsey fair continues to thrive after a few dodgy years in the early noughties. There were plenty of people through the doors and plenty of dealers to keep the wallet occupied. As John and Lincolnredman noted, it was good put a few faces to names.

The annual Durham fair is now held in a Working Mans Club rather than at Durham F.C. Some well known dealers have attended over the years such as John Dee, Almondvale programmes and this year Mick Hewitt. Although well ran and organised, I'm sure that if the venue was bigger and publicised like Pudsey, then the crowds would flock in. There are plenty of collectors up here.

Smile
