Probably a good idea to stick to collecting for the one team, usualy the team you support in your case Manchester United ? .
As i can gather from visiting this great site (often) everyone has a specific reason for collecting a certain type of programme.
In my case i collect from the career of my altime footballing hero the late Derek Dougan and i am endeavouring to obtain a prog from every game domesticaly and otherwise he played in .Prob will never happen but i am getting there slowly at the mo very slowly.
Programme collecting can become a very costly hobby indead,so my advice to you would be just stick to the one kind of collecting and do not deveate.

I've done that before if I cant afford to buy Bradford Park Avenue programmes I buy Preston North End 1960/61, they are still easy to obtain most of the home Programmes but having astruggle with a couple of aways:- Blackburn Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday, West Bromwich Albion and West Han United,

Home Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion.

When I go to West Brom i buy some of the current season ones in there. When I go Nantwich they have quite a few programmes from the last couple of seasons. Whenever I go Crewe I go in the programme shop.
