Sorry to appear thick, but can you clear up the meaning of the badge please.

From what I can tell, it looks like the badge was made to commemorate West Ham finishing 3rd in the 2nd Division in 1934/35 - am I right?

Seems an obscure 'honour' to commemorate.

It would certainly be more collectable for Brentford collectors.

Thanks for explaining it FBB!

I think I've a little while to wait!

1968/69 - CPFC 2nd in Division Two

1978/79 - CPFC 1st in Division Two

1988/89 - CPFC 3rd in Division Two

1990/91 - CPFC 3rd in Division One (yes, really!)

Then the Divisions all got re-numbered and it hasn't been the same since!

Guess how much this badge fetched on EBay recently. the badge commemorates the 1911 English Cup Final between Bradford City & Newc. Utd

Knowing there is a Bradford collector who is so keen he annually sells match badges by subscription, I'll say £55.00

Surprised Just seen what it went for!!! Malcolm did well there although I wouldn't have broken up a set.

I occasionally treat myself to any I see on ebay that are cheap, and feature FA Cup Finals played at the Crystal Palace.

Sometimes they go for big money too - all depends on the teams featured - Forest-Derby went for £16.50, then there's postage on top too.
