Is anyone aware of any tickets in circulation from the EURO 2020 tournament that are believed to be reproductions?

If so, how can you tell the difference between the copies and the originals?

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give.

Most tickets were e tickets but after the tournament supporters were able to buy memorabilia "tickets" for 10 euros. These were only printed and issued several weeks after the tournament finished. You'll see underneath the seat details "Memorabilia" is printed

There are also quite a few access control or test tickets knocking about - these were dummy tickets used by stewards to check entry gates were working. It states "Access Control Test" underneath the seat details

Actual original tickets are few in number - mainly for VIPs, media and as replacements for lost/faulty e tickets

Links below may help

An actual printed ticket

Brilliant, thanks for that. Really grateful.

Were there any differences on the types of paper used? The first example that you have given looks to be on a thinner paper but were any Hospitality tickets that you know of printed on a thicker type paper, like very thin card.

I bought my 3 tickets after the tournament, they were for the exact seats I had used (only QR codes via the app were issued to enter at the stadium)

They are exactly the same as any other ticket, albeit there is a small "memorabilia" printed on them. I don't consider that to lessen what they are. Then again, I'm not a big ticket collector.

Does anyone know if there were differences in the types of paper used in all of the above ticket examples? Also, and this may seem like a daft question, but were the holograms shiny on each example or were some of the examples given printed dull and without a shine?

I don't know of any definite reprints but alarm bells are ringing when you question the quality of the paper and the hologram.

Tickets sold for crazy money on ebay after the games many for more than they cost to buy to see the game.

I seem to recall talk of fakes at the time to access games.

So no doubt there are fakes around.

If you are asking about the paper quality and the hologram quality then without even seeing it..........

l only ask about the paper quality to see if there were any differences in the standard tickets and tickets for the hospitality. The hologram I ask about, as on the Memorabilia version example above, the hologram doesn't look shiny. I know of a Hospitality ticket where the hologram isn't shiny and printed on a thicker card like paper.

I can confirm the "memorabilia" tickets have nice, shiny holograms that do hologramy things, and printed on good quality paper.

I'm not aware of UEFA using poor quality paper for tickets anytime in the recent or not so recent past. If they did it is highly unlikely they did for hospitality tickets.

Unfortunately there are loads of gangsters faking football memorabilia to sell on ebay.

I'd strongly advise avoiding buying a UEFA issued ticket that is not on quality paper. If you've already bought maybe try for a refund.

However no doubt the seller will have some story
