I have recently picked up a fabulous collection of 50 plus photographs relating to Weymouth FC in the early 1960s in the Athenian league days.

I am struggling to find much information about their history.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi - sorry to be a pedant but Weymouth never played in the Athenian League which was London and South East based. Prior to joining the Southern League they were stalwarts of the Western League. More importantly an old boy called Ray Barnes who drinks in my local played for Weymouth Reserves regularly in the late 50s and early 60s. If there are any photos of the 2nd or 'A' team from that era among the collection I would love to have scans if that would be possible. Hope you can help. Diolch yn fawr, Mark Thumbs Up
