get a lot of bad press what with breaking lockdown, behaviour issues and of course exorbitant pay/contracts worth 100's of £1000s per week. Step forward Adam Novakowski of Bradford (Park Avenue), Avenue play in National League North, who has agreed to play for Avenue for a nominal £1 per week, he has even offered to pay his own travel costs: https://bpafc.com/dressing-room-favourite-adam-novakowski-signs-for-20-21-for-just-1-a-week/ Avenue. were rooted to the bottom of National League North in 2019/20 but have escaped relegation after the National League ruled there would be no relegation this season. Hopefully, Novakowski's generous gesture will herald a change of fortune for Park Avenue who lost league status in 1970.
