Talking of Newton Heath on another poster i though you might like to see a couple of extremely rare items from my own collection

As can be seen from a study of the fixture list these games were being played every couple of days

This particular programme came out of Goodison about 20 years where it had been inside a team notice board in the dressing room.When they threw it away the hidden glass inside broke and drew the attention of the lad throwing it away.On opening the frame he found TWO.I bought the two before selling one to a senior Manchester United collector

Newton Heath Bazaar brochure
By the end of season 1900/1901 Newton Heath were in deep do do.The electricity was being cut off and the bailiffs were knocking on the door.They had a bazaar to try to raise money.Whilst this in itself failed it did attract the attention of a local brewery owner who owned the land at Old Trafford.The club was offered money to save it provided it changed its name and in time its ground.The rest is history
Very few of these brochures exist.I know of only two nut you never know there might be more
It even has from the infamous 1892/93 team Errenz(who unfortunately didn't sign the bpage on another thread)
