Has anyone come across any good or interesting hand written notes on their programmes? I had a little one liner on the back of Harwich & Parkeston programme along the lines of 'match postponed due to injury of the keeper. He lived."

Will try and upload a picture of it this evening.

Seen a few scribes in my time, did have a programme with someone’s shopping list on the team page, not sure what they were thinking did they have to pop to town afterwards, if I find it again will scan in

The most memorable one that I can recall was in a bundle of 1970's Chelsea home programmes that came in to me about a year ago.
Across the bottom of the cover on one of them in marker pen was "WE ARE DOOMED!!" Laughing

Written on the front of this is one of my favourites - as part of a day of various activities at Bridlington Trinity United's Queensgate Ground in 1953 was to be a display by the East Riding County Fire Brigade.

Written next to this is "This didn't come off - they had to turn out to a real fire"
