You add albums into collections, eg all my Hearts albums go into one collection, Scotland stuff into another, etc.

Hi Andrew

My preference is to create albums, I do not put any into collections.

I have around 700 albums and when anyone visits the site they get to see everyone and that way they miss nothing and see it all at one time, each person has their ideal mode de employ-that is mine.

If you need any other help re Flickr just let me know, I started 12 years ago and yes it is an arduous task but the results are there for everyone to see, as I am still probably only half way thru the images that need to go on not allowing for new stuff I am buying all the time.

Both links are below OK. Wave

Similar to Leslie, I prefer to use albums and not collections.
Generally just putting things in a particular season. I guess ultimately it depends what you are sharing and how you want people to view.

I use mine as a reference to check what I have/need, so slbums per season works a treat.

Just for clarity, Collections are just a way of organising albums, so if you have a lot of albums covering a few different topics, then you can create a Collection for each area to make it easier to find them eg;

Hearts programmes
Scotland programmes
Tickets
Other memorabilia

You then drag the albums into each Collection. It doesn’t actually change anything, you still see albums as you normally do, just that you can also go into the Collections option and also access them there.

Another vote for collections.......

Just depends on what ya scanning......

It starts with programmes then when you have the "bug", it expands to other items

No right or wrong answer Sherlock Sherlock
