Lovely item, some great names. Looks totally genuine. Bobby Moore, George Best , Bill Nicholson, Matt Busby, Alf Ramsey and all the rest ,, . Not an expert, but l would think at least £200 plus.Just noticed Ramsey has signed it twice. There’s also Eddie Bailey from Spurs

Wow Thankyou, my grandfather Charlie Faulkber, worked along side Eddie Bailey when he was a scout. So these are some of his old invertations/menues. I have just found a pile, the rest un signed in a bag and couldn’t make out the names.

Just spotted Danny Blanchflower as well. Obviously , with all these Spurs greats, , Ramsey, Baily, Nicholson, Blanchflower,, on the menu, there’s a strong chance that some of the unidentified could be from Spurs as well. Did your grandfather play professionally? Not being nosey,, It’s just that he might have had some programmes / tickets tucked away that could be just as valuable as this item.

Looks like Dave MacKay there too, keeping with the Tottenham theme.

Charlie Faulkner was a chief scout for West Ham and spurs. I know he worked with bailey. He found Devonshire, souness, hoddle, Perryman and more. He’s in a few autobiography’s and the glory game.
As a child I just remember sitting in his car while he watched football or my mum saying “ there were always young men there having dinner.

“Mullery had been suffering with a deep-seated pelvic condition after the World Cup and had missed a fair chunk of the season, even being loaned to Fulham to get him playing again, although it was only on Mullery's insistence after Bill Nick wouldn't play him because he felt he wasn't fit. A month's loan was agreed with Bill Dodgin, the Fulham boss and four games later, with Mullery proving his fitness, the Easter programme of fixtures was looming. A phone call from Bill Nicholson enquired about how he was doing. “OK,” said Mullery, but the Spurs manager knew this already as he had scout Charlie Faulkner watching every game and he had noted Mullery was the best player in the team.”

I don’t think there’s any more I’ll have a look and post any others I have

Hfaulk, your grandfathers story is really interesting. He spotted some real talent. You will probably already know this, but as Holtie suggested, tread carefully. You could have some real collectors items on your hands without knowing it. Items such as any diaries that he used while he was doing his job could be collectable.

I’m not sure about diaries I’ll ask my dad, but found these. The one sitting down is at his house, but not sure who anyone is other than the team as he’s written on back?
It’s all very interesting and exciting. I have messaged the clubs but they don’t seem to have anything

Pretty certain someone on this forum will be able to name the young player signing and the England schoolboy international. With your grandfathers West Ham links they could be future Hammers? There is a famous name on the team photo, E Hapgood, but doesn’t look like Eddie Hapgood the former England skipper.

That’s West Ham’s Alan Devonshire holding the FA Cup.
