Not usually but there are 2 or 3 keen spurs ticket collectors so if they all need it then can go high. Plenty of tickets go for only a few quid.

Spurs tickets can be a weird marketplace at times Rocky.

I have sold several from the 70's/80's, both Home and Away, for similar prices as the ones you have shown, but then when I have had another ticket for one of the same matches, I have put them on a few months later and they don't sell with a fiver starting price.

As Goonerboy said, there are a few big hitters out there for Spurs tickets and the hope for the seller is that at least two of them need the tickets you have, therefore pushing the price up as they fight it out.

I sold a Spurs v Sheff Utd from the mid 60's - went for almost £70. I was stunned!

Yes, as mentioned, if two or three collectors need an item to fill a gap, then the bidding will take off. I wonder how many elusive items are sat in peoples 'spares' that are thought to be virtually worthless but in effect could raise up to three figures?

To be honest Rocky, I think what makes this all too weird for me is eBay because you just cannot predict what the hell will happen. I've had Villa tickets in the past where I've got say 4, sold the first 2 for a quid or less, the third one has gone for, say, £6 and then back down to 50p. It's as maddening as it is exciting!
