David Meek the former Manchester Evening News reporter for Manchester United, also journalist and writer has passed on.

David was flung into frontline match reporting following the Munich disaster and reported on United for many years.
He shared many of the triumphs and some of the sad situations, wrote books (including the United annuals) and contributed to some of the players biographies, he also contributed to several other activities connected to United before his retirement. RIP.
