EBAY/PAYPAL- RETURN POSTAGE REFUNDS

Information for PayPal users.

I have recently had a dispute with an EBayer Seller over items being 'Not as Described' where the Seller refused to refund the cost of returning items.

PayPal sorted out a Refund of the cost and also advised on the PayPal scheme whereby you can claim the Return Postage if the Seller does not cover it. The PayPal scheme allows up to 12 Returns/claims per year:

To activate PayPal's Return Shipping on Us service for free, simply go to https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/refunded-returns and click Agree & Activate Now. Once you have activated, you can submit a refund request for your return shipping costs. The Return Shipping on Us service may cover the cost of return shipping for eligible items back to the seller.
