Ipswich Town v Hull City (re-arranged).

Ipswich Town have a re-arranged match tonight versus Hull City (which was postponed from Sat 3rd March), and they have decided to re-use the original programme + an 8 page updated insert.

What are your views on this and have Ipswich Town got it right tonight ?

I understand that the cost of producing a programme for any match must immense and is clearly the over-riding factor in their decision.

Other Championship clubs also have re-arranged matches tonight, so I wonder if they are following a similiar theme or issuing a brand new programme ?

I look forward to your views/comments.

8 pages of update is better than some. Palace often used to manage just a folded insert (one sheet, so I suppose you'd call it 4 pages) when this happened to us in the Championship

How many weeks ago was the original programme printed for? If it's 2/3 weeks then fair enough I'd say, Championship clubs run at a massive loss every year so its a fair call

yes thanks Dorking.

the original match was postponed on the Friday 2nd (one day before) the match, so I guess the programmes would have already been printed.

I think this is the only option open to ITFC, rather than scrapping the original print run and running a second batch for tonight's match.

I wasn't sure at first - but I am happier with it now.

Many Thanks.

10 days seems fair to reuse the original in my opinion.

Wolves have issued the original programme with an eight page update. Seems sensible to me.

I was at Tamworth v Darlington last night. Tamworth used the programme from 3 March, with no insert, but only charged £1 for it instead of the cover price of £2.50
