I just looked through a Football League Review from 1969 and there was an ad in there for Steve Earl. Surely he must be the longest serving programme dealer ever? Shocked

Regarding the prices, l was thinking the the same as you Don.When the 'bulk 'was pointed out , they now look good value . As you said, it's an oldies thing..l think Steve Earl was going when l used to send off to dealers for a 2 shillings ( 20p) bundle in the early 1960's.You didn't know what you were going to receive in return from the dealer. When you opened the parcel, exotic names such as St Johnstone , Hamilton Accademicles and Newport County would appear before your eyes. .All exciting stuff when your a kid.

Two shillings is actually only 10p.
