I would say the £5000 paid for the Sheffield United v Tottenham Hotspur F.A. Cup final played at the Crystal Palace 20th April 1901 is the record anybody has paid for a ticket, this price probably didn't even include the buyers premium & VAT which would take it closer to £6200

£8 is the most I have paid, for Norwich's 2-1 away win in Munich.

Most I pay less than £2 for, but its been such a long time since I found one I need I may go slightly higher.

I paid £20 for an unused/mint Romania v Scotland ticket from 1991. That's the most I think.

I Sold on Ebay 2 or 3 years ago a Chesterfield v Chelsea fac 50/51 ticket for £180, the most I payed for a ticket was £120 for a 1966 World Cup Final ticket, a bit pricey but its in excellent condition with no faults and is a seated ticket as well.

most i have paid was about £120 for the Anderlecht v Arsenal 1970 Fairs Cup final ticket but that was a couple of years ago before ticket prices started escalating. On the flip side about a year ago i did sell a newcastle 1968/69 fairs cup home quarter final ticket on ebay for £284. I also sold privately an 1894 Everton home ticket for £450 about a year ago
