Yes, I would imagine he might be slightly the worse for wear by the time he reads this!

I’ve just got back from the game - taking photos for the FL paper. What scenes on the pitch after the game. Whilst trying to take photos I was being kissed by random welshmen! Couldn’t see them getting the victory. What a time for O’Brien to score his first goal of the season.

Well pleased for you Wiggy Easy

Pity to see Jeff Stelling's Hartlepool go though.
I think all football fans can relate to him as he wears his heart on his sleeve.

There was a very emotional caller on the Football Phone ln Radio 5 last night. The bloke was virtually in tears as he told Robbie Savage about how proud he was about Newport's great escape.l thought, this has got to be littlewiggy? He then went on to say that he was an Evertonian as well.l knew then that it definately wasn't you.Well done Wiggy, hopefully my local team, Tranmere ,will be playing you next season.

I feel for Pools too if I'm honest Five, they're not a club I dislike.
I like Jeff as well.

Read a great comment on their forum ... "The light at the end of the tunnel was a train coming the other way!"

Yes I'm really hoping Tranny win the play-offs too FP, the ridiculous money Forest Green's Ecotricity owner throws at them every year means they're always gazumping us for players in this area with the astronomical wages they pay.

Unlike the poor old Monkey Hangers, they're a club I dislike very much indeed. Come on Tranny!

Dale have had players join Dover instead because they pay higher wages than Dale - as for FGR some of their players are on 100k+ a year

Forest Green's top scorer (Doidge) is a Newport lad, but we couldn't pay him half of what the Gumps are throwing at him.

I've heard Gillingham are interested in him as well, but couldn't come near to matching let alone raising his current salary.

I was having a conversation with fellow photographers yesterday about clubs like FGR, Fylde, Fleetwood. Bankrolled without any real existing fan base. Rushden & Diamonds come to mind, now what happened to them…

Eventually the owners will get bored and then what will happen. Give me a properly run club with a history any day.

Cheers Martin, if my memory serves it was your good self who first suggested that a Newport miracle could be on the cards and not to give up.

So another year of my serial hogging the L2 Badge thread indeed beckons after all!

Very Happy

County's fate does indeed look pretty grim although don't throw in the towel yet... we just took 7 from 9 after looking dead in the water a couple of weeks ago... there is always hope!

Am sure Dave from Brum is hoping for a Newport miracle also "

You'll be ok buddy, you're over your blip now.

You've just beaten the division's form team, and Exeter!

Smile Smile

Best start getting that Wembley kitty together.
