You will be lucky to get £1 for the programme. Run of the mill with plenty available.

The programme also looks like its been written on at the bottom, which is a shame as it decreases the value.

Tufcprogs would be able to give an accurate assessment for you, but he is offline at the moment, should be back online at the end of the week.

Regarding the value, I would have to agree with Bazzabaggies. Crying or Very sad

Im afraid your all wrong! 1. if anyone can find this programme with any on line traders LET ME KNOW asap please. I cannot find one for sale anywhere and 2. do not judge a book by its cover. That's a clue ! I value this programme at £25 ! why?

Torquay v Southend 1976/7 ?????
Is it because you are a NVQ Assessor and they all overcharge in everything they do.
Or was it the match that was abandonded when over 5,000 seagulls (Some from Southend) invaded the pitch and refused to leave. ??

I am at a loss as to why this could be valued at £25... the game took place on a Saturday in December so unlikely to be a postponed issue...

Just because its not for sale elsewhere doesn't mean its rare...

Therefore I am out of ideas - interested in why you value at this price.

I am estimating the value. The programme is for sale on ebay.
Why I have started this debate, is because I would like to know how many other programmes are out there with Sex Pistols adverts in them?. I now know there are 3 programmes. The above one, MC v Derby 1976 and anybody know the 3rd one?
So do you think its worth £20-£25?

"Value" is not what you think something is worth but the amount someone is willing to pay you.

Not all of the Man City v Derby issues were printed with the Sex Pistols reference within them.

It tends to be more coveted by collectors of early punk rock stuff than Derby collectors, though.

Or Man City collectors (not that any of those exist apparently!)

I have a 74/5 Oxford v Hull programme which includes a full page photo of Starry Eyed And Laughing who were about to play at the Manor Ground.

They look very glum, though.

With a name like that and being from the period they were, you'd think they were some kind of Rubettes-type combo but no - they were proggy enough to be invited to do 3 separate John Peel sessions.

Not a bad band at all if still a bit mainstream for me.

Doubt if the promo photo makes the programme worth any more nowadays than the 10p it cost though!

Once again I stress this particular programme is not worth very much. I have looked through my collection of Torquay's and including all my doubles of the Southend game and they all have the advert in the middle for the Sex Pistols.

Depends on what you will offer me for them. Going by what you think of the value for them and I have two spare copies, lets say £60 for the two AND you pay the postage.

There are actually 2 more that I am aware of.

Bristol City v Leeds and Ipswich v Liverpool both played on 4/12/76.

I think the Bristol game was abandoned.

The attached scan is from the Bristol programme.
