Mullocks auction is here again at the same venue, The Racecourse,Ludlow SY8 2BT on 13 April 2017 (note the Rugby Auction--both league and union--is the day before 12 April with a vast array of items including several medals awarded to a famous rugby league international player). The football viewing is not only on the auction day but also whilst the rugby is underway and available in a separate room which makes it more comfortable for those who wish to take their time.
The football content has many featured items including many signed football shirts, a 1966 England World Cup Winners squad medal, a 1965 FA Cup winners medal (the 1st time Liverpool were winners),plus a fully signed Liverpool player match worn cup final shirt also from 1965.A comprehensive Liverpool programme collection from 1942 onwards, Everton from 1942 onwards,Derby County 1942 and 1943,New Brighton selection from the 1950s,1966 World Cup Willie items with several rarely seen, 1954 Charity Shield awarded to a player,Chelsea player contract early 1950s plus menus and other Chelsea club memorabilia including a letter requesting the manager to stand down!
We also have Manchester United scarce issues plus celebration menus and scarce photos from the 1950s era also several Scottish lots with progammes from the early 1950s, some earlier, with Hearts and Celtic noted. In addition 100s of programmes in various lots that will tempt the curious and will award the adventurous after careful inspection.
The catalogue is now online, the printed glossy hard version is due for release and available to purchase.
We welcome back our regulars and extend an invitation to those who may also enjoy the ambiance of both the auction and the town centre of Ludlow with its pubs and restaurants.
For those who cannot make it, live internet is available through or why not book a telephone line though it should be noted we have limited availability of the latter so please arrange as early as possible.
Here's to us all having an enjoyable day, or for some, enjoyable two days. All the best, Roy.
