THE SILENT TREATMENT.

First of all I want to say that the majority of forum members on this site have been absolutely superb, in either, a request for information or " doing a deal "and I have made many friends.

However on a few occasions recently I have contacted certain members by personal message either for information or further details, before a possible deal and been met with " The silent treatment ", that is there is no response to my PM.

Now I am not bothered if they respond by "telling me to do one " or " no chance " or whatever, so long as I get a response. I just think it is common courtesy,.I really feel like " biting my nose to spite my face" in that if I have an item these members want, I would not help them.

It's not that uncommon, I first thought with your heading you were talking about her indoors! There's piss ballers in every sphere of life!! In the car trade they call them tyre kickers, when you sell a house half the people are just coming to have a look around. By and large from my own experience on here there's far more tidy people than not and that's the main thing.

I don't think it's so much of a case that people ignore you but more down to the messaging system.

I'm sure a few others will back me up but sometimes correspondence gets stuck in the 'out tray' and fails to reach its destination.

Always worth letting people know on the main forum that you have sent a PM and take it from there..
