After an enjoyable trip to the Royal Borough of Kensington for last weekend's West London Fair, I'm now busy organising a Fair somewhat nearer to my Plymouth base:
THE WILTSHIRE PROGRAMME & MEMORABILIA FAIR AT LEGENDS LOUNGE, ARKELLS STAND, SWINDON TOWN FC, COUNTY GROUND, SN1 2ED, (10.30am - 1.30pm, admission £1, under-16's free).
A full list of stall-holders will be published here when it is finalised, but I can already advise that seven dealers are returning again this year: Roger Coombs from Cardiff, John Cosh from Bristol, Martin Lane from London, Paul Plowman from Swindon, Tom Roe from Lancashire, Terrys Badges from Oxfordshire and myself. We also are welcoming several newcomers in John Dee from Northampton, local collector Keith Dickson and Royal Wotton Bassett FC.

I plan to be there on Sunday. This time as a buyer.
Next time possibly a seller. We'll see! Looking forward to it!

As the fair organiser, I was well pleased with the attendance, which was just over 80, a decent rise on last year.
I was pleased too with the range of items on sale. With two late additions, we finished up with a total of thirteen stands, with two significant badge specialists, as well as the usual programme and memorabilia traders.
I should like to place on record my personal thanks to all the stall-holders and collectors who attended the event. They each, in their own individual way, contributed to the overall success of the event.
I must add that it is great to work with the staff at Swindon Town - they are amongst the most friendly and helpful people we meet at the various venues I have attended for fairs.
