I have to admit I find it difficult to understand the attraction for collecting team sheets but each to his own, but this is surely a step too far. Someone has knocked up a team sheet from 1900 on their computer and is selling it as a piece of 'modern day memorabilia' no takers so far.
It also seems to me that with the technology available these days it is fairly simple to make copies of any legitimate team sheets and knock out any number on a regular basis. Does this matter to you collectors of teem sheets?

I'm happy to buy a copy of a teamsheet if thats all thats issued for the game. Also happy to pay for a non original, as long as seller is clear, that that is what they are selling.

I've been to England games abroad where there is nothing freely available to your 'ordinary fan'

In such cases I have been known to partake in pirate programmes, copies of the teamsheet, and even in one instance a copy of a press guide.

The above are all things I rarely bother with, but sometimes needs must, and I'd rather have something than a gap in my collection

Listing now removed?!

There seems a fashion in rugby league these days not to bother with a programme for pre-season friendlies, but it seems team sheets are always prepared (though usually not for the general public). For these I've taken to contacting the club directly to get the electronic file (PDF or word), and then printing it at home myself-I consider this to be as genuine as getting an original from the ground on the day, but maybe I'm just kidding myself! Makes life a lot easier though, and technically it's a 'no issue' game, so this is only a gap filler anyway.

Which reminds me, need to contact Rochdale re this weekend's friendly-that's another grey area though: my club (Warrington) have s thing of playing lower league clubs in pre-season friendlies, but effectively sending the reserves (though it's not advertised as a reserve team as such), without a first teamer in sight. Never sure how to treat these!

He's been doing that shite for a while, must sell though.

On the subject of teamsheets, if anyone has an England v Scotland original from last year, please PM me.

There's nothing finer than the smell of a freshly printed team-sheet.

I'm waiting for the day when a Hollywood filmmaker remakes one of those scenes from Ceaser's Palace where some floozie's rolling around the bed throwing money in the air, only this time, it will be some scrubber in the Premier Inn at Walsall, doing it with team-sheets. Laughing Laughing Laughing

On a more serious note, I have a serious addiction to team-sheets, no I don't know why either, even found myself peeling the team-sheet of the wall at Deepdale in November for their game against Burton which was played the weekend before.

I definitely need help, but even I can't see the attraction of printing hundreds of copies and even more so buying them when they did not exist.

Hate unofficial copies.
