In spite of old scrooge from North of the border saying that Santa is dead in an attempt to save a couple of quid, I'd like to spread the festive spirit, wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. May all your team's get 3 points every week, unless they play against Forest!! Very Happy

Same to you mate. Nah, not bin on here for a while - got dodgy internet access at home (can't afford t'internet, so scrounge it off the neighbour!!), and just been really busy at work and home- you know how it is! In sorting the house out, I am in the process of sorting my Forest spares out - one day I will get it finished!!

Merry Christmas Piebald.

Like you said in your post on the welcome section, I'm not a Notts hater, I don't understand the mentality that has built up on the other side of the Trent from a lot of Notts fans, so its nice to hear from a rational 'Pie. I was sorry to see Notts end up in financial trouble a few years ago, so I went down and did my bit, along with a lot of Reds. I would be over the moon if Forest, Notts, Stags and the Sheep were all in the Championship (although I'd prefer it if the sheep were at the bottom and we were at the top!!)

Well said ForestMick...I have the prog for the match against Forest in 1959 played(i think) to support Notts as well as that Notts played against Man.Utd. reserves played for the same reason.
Goodness knows where we will end up but Notts were the team my dad supported so guess Ill keep hoping!!!

Merry Xmas to all on here, hope your teams pick up maximum points over the holiday period except Sheff Utd and Doncaster. Will be watching our game v Sheff Utd in a nice warm pub in West Yorks, then travelling to Doncaster on the 28th, bet its freezing.

Pah, humbug. Nae football for me until well intae the New Year! The Juniors don't play on boxing day, and everyone's blootered up here for the New Year so it'll be the 2nd weekend on January before I get my fix again, and then it'll probably be postponed because of either (A) the Arctic weather, or (B) they can't get the ****ing woolly mammoths off the pitch!
Have been busy spreading the word that Santa's bought it on a number of websites in the forlorn hope that I might strike it rich for next year and Chrsitmas is postponed, never to be replayed.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone (unless you're a Blackpool or Newcastle fan in which case I hope your teams lose on the 26th and 28th). Hope to see some of you at the Sheffield and Manchester Fairs.

In my letter to Santa this year I've asked for:

a) A home win before Easter
b) A new goalkeeper
c) A crate of Guinness
d) Some Alka Seltzer

Merry Xmas to everybody and may you all knock something off your wants list in the New Year .

Rocky Thumbs Up
