I intend to be there, taking Mum and Dad to the inlaws and I can have a couple of hours there.

Don't think I'll be spending much though, for the 1st time ever our Xmas bonus hasn't been paid this year. Sad

i think this fair would be better if the room was bigger,i've only been twice and both times the 1st half hour was like being in the new year sales everyone rushed in and you couldn't see anything so i went for a cup of tea till it had calm down abit.with there only being 6 dealers there, theres not enough space and dealers for everyone to spread out.thats why i like the greater manchester fair, more room.
i'm standing at the manchester fair again this year so come over and say hello it would be nice to put a face to a name.happy christmas Very Happy

I intend to be there.Agree its all a bit cramped and not ideal for the dealers to display their progs.,but there were some nice items for sale when I last went 2 years ago.
Anyone got a list of which dealers are attending?

7 dealers I counted.

Was very cramped at 11.15. I'd say 100/120 people looking round at that time.

Only saw 1 thing that I was interested in which normally goes for £60 and was marked up at a ton. Needless to say, they wouldn't budge on price so it stayed with the dealer.

I did a great deal with Denis Clareborough on a Boston v Sheff Utd Testimonial from 1958. I said last year I might be able to pick up a spare copy of the programme and there and then he said his price. True to his word when I turned up today he stuck to his price.........he's a gentleman and one of the most knowledgeable people on football in the South Yorkshire/North Derbyshire area.

Picked up a handful of badges off Mick Hewitt who will no doubt enjoy his trip over The Pennines to Manchester tomorrow........I'm told Leeds fans are always made most welcome there Laughing and a few bits and bobs off the indefatigable Colin Boulter.

Once again my only gripe is the size of the venue, I'm sure there must be bigger rooms available in Sheffield where David could hold the fair and get more dealers along who no doubt would add to what is a very good and well organized and attended fair.
