I am looking for any programme featuring John(Jack) Percival. He was signed by Man City from Durham before the war. like many his career was disrupted by military service. I believe he played for the army. He played briefly for City after the war before going to Bournemouth then returning to Durham City, where he eventually became manager.
He is my partner's uncle. as her dads big brother he was his hero but never managed to see him play. It would be great for the current members of the family to se some record of his achievements.

J Percival

Source - Manchester City Complete Record

Played 1932 to 1947
173 Appearances
8 goals.

Copies of the book can be purchased cheaply on E Bay or via Abebooks and from that you can get a complete list of all matches in which he played for City first X1.

Source - The Definitive AFC Bournemouth:

Jack Percival
Born - Patrington, 16/5/1913
Died 1979
Played 1947 and 1948
Signed from Man City
Next Club - Murton (p/m) ??
Appearances 55
Goals 1

Here again this book will give you a complete record of the matches in which he played but I think it is a bit harder to find.

I hope this helps.
