I like those Baggies badges.

Nothing wrong with a nice, simple, unfussy match badge.

The Palace crest on it is the crest that stopped being used in 2013,and even then they have reversed the eagle (ie drawn it in mirror image)

But it's not the worst I've had and is alright I suppose

Haven't seen anything from 73nadja for a while, which is a shame as at one point it looked like he'd do every Palace game this season, then it all came to a halt Sad

I've got two more from Nadja winging their way to me as I speak Dorking, a County v Wimbledon badge, and a CT Group badge.

We haven't played well for a whole 90 mins for months. Only 1 win since SEPTEMBER!

Nice words, but those who have watched it all know that it'd take about 5 or 6 new signings to turn this rotten team around right now. Allardyce hasn't improved anything at all yet from what it was like under Pardew.

Very nice set mate.

You won't be alone in saving money on match badges next season, I'll probably have a grand total of zero to collect!

Couldn't see any, but we drove and parked in Bow, walked to the ground from there past Pudding Mill Lane station.

We did do a lap of the ground to see what it was like (very dull bar a massive screen on the front) but didn't do the traditional route from Stratford, or go near the Carpenters estate, so there could have been one there???

Had already ordered my badges from Big Al, so wasn't going to walk miles on a badge hunt, when common sense says there was unlikely to be anything anyway.

Pretty soulless place to be honest and there's no hint of jealousy in that comment. Reminded me of some of the concrete bowls I used to go to Eastern Europe to watch England play in, with similar policing and stewarding to boot.

I'm not buying it Dorking.

Sounds like you were really envious of that plush new cycling stadium Boiled 'Am play at.

Reeking of jealousy there buddy.

I've got a good mate who's a lifelong 'Ammer, and he reckons on the lower level you need a lifeguard's chair and a pair of binoculars to get a decent view at the action.

Cherish what you have while you have it Dorking.
Selhurst isn't everybody's cup of tea, but it's a proper football ground with an old skool atmosphere.

This is our 4th consecutive season in the Prem since promotion, and must have gotten through £300m with nothing material to show for it other than a portacabin club shop in the club car park. No danger that Selhurst Park will get a new stand any time soon!

The stand I am in in perfectly good and will be here long after I am gone that's for sure!

I've always been one formaking the most of our time in the sun, hence grabbing every badge, card, sticker, scrapbooking every match report, and the cup final last year was a real mission!

Strange thing is, if we stay up by any means possible, then I reckon Sam will make a good go of it. But to be honest the players we have are shot to bits, and conspire to lose almost every game. Can't see any signs of change yet. Que sera.

Always had a soft spot for Palace, even under a known crook like *Pulis.

Sadly good friends like you & Pete are on your own now, under this bloated, gum-chewing chap.

I can't wish you well when you continue to employ such obvious *bad eggs.

[* Allegedly] Smile

You could say the same about so many in football for what its worth, and that includes his predeccessors -

Pardew with his head butt, and publicly calling a fellow manager an Old C*** (not going to mention his private life)

Pulis lying to get out of a contract (cost him £3.5m in court)

Dowie found guilty of the same to go to Charlton (without the £3.5m)

Warnock for putting on the gentleman act when it suits but actually being an Old C***

and so on...

we have had our share!

Sounds like a prison 5-a-side-team really Dorking.

The only innocent in all this madness is Holloway.
The mad bugger.

I guess what I meant was, I applauded Palace with all the Pulis stuff.
Yep there's a club taking a stand against these LMA-protected gits I thought, ... then you appointed Allardyce.

It was like Homer Simpson that time: ... "Marge my friend, I haven't learnt a single thing."

Really disappointing.

Holloway was a fine manager, and did exactly what we thought he was perfect for - got us promoted to the Prem in 7 months flat. Real shame he was hopelessly out of his depth in the Prem itself as I really liked him, but on promotion he signed 16 new players that summer (yes 16!) and the vast majority were just not Prem quality, it was flop after flop. Luckily a) he was very honourable and resigned (rather than let it rag on for months just to wait to be sacked and get a payoff), b) all those signings were so cheap, that his replacemement Pulis still had a good amount of budget for the January window, bought 4 quality players and kept us up. Only mistake by Pulis was asking for his 'staying up bonus' early, then walking out. If he'd have stayed just 2 more weeks, then quit, he'd have been fine to keep it. So he kept us up and didn't get to keep the bonus.

Also a shame in that by far he had the most tactical nous of any Palace manager, a real tactician, even if a lot of it is 'anti football'.

Totally get what you say about Allardyce, however to club owners, staying in this league is absolutely everything, it's 100m of tv money for finishing 4th bottom I think, so morals go out of the window. If Adam Johnson could do a job for a struggling team, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if someone signed him.
