There appears to be scoreboard at the far end, and a feint indication of a church spire to the left of it.

I promise to stop asking such questions....I feel I have used up my allowance

Cheers,

Ian

Can you post a better resolution image please?

The two that spring immediately to mind are Roker Park (looking from Fulwell End) or Fratton Park (looking from Fratton End). Not sure how the possible scoreboard ties in with those though.

All said, I only managed around 40 of the 'old' 92, so there's probably lots of other contenders...

Hmm - terrace at far end probably not deep enough for the old (old) Roker Park, but possibly more recent Roker (as I think the depth of this terrace was reduced at some stage). Any other clues to age of photograph?

Position of gaps in back wall could be the key (and I'm not sure they ever had these at Fratton as Milton terrace was accessed from steps at the sides). The gap behind goal looks correct for later Roker, but the one to the right-hand side looks too close to corner flag.

Like I said: Hmm...

Are you certain it's an English ground? It looks like somewhere abroad to me.

Could it be Burnden Park Bolton in early years , looks like a scoreboard at the far end and no stands to be seen either at bottomn end or on the left hand side . It is a very poor resolution picture , could be anywhere to be honest until we see a better picture

The more I look at it the more it looks like Fratton Park viewed from the Fratton End.
