Harjoe has just provided me with some excellent information on Blackburn players paying in friendlies or representative games in Ireland. I am now looking for the following programmes.


Glaenmore Celtic Selected v Bournmouth on 6th May 1957

Ireland /Wales V England /Scotland at Belgrove 4th may 1956.

All Ireland XI V England XI at Drumconda 27/4/1956

Bohemians XI against York City 20th May 1955.

Please let me know if you have any of these programmes for sale or if you know of any other obscure games in Ireland where Blackburn players were involved.

I have a spare copy of Glenmore Celtic (Selected) v Barnsley if you are looking for that one. Game was played Tue 9th May 1961 at Dalymount Park.

Ronnie Clayton was in the Glenmore Select XI.
