I sold a Headington home from 45/6 on ebay for four figures...

There are two very keen competitive collectors of Headington programmes....and that is what happens when they both want it Smile

I visited a few Charity shops in Headington the other day , well you never know. I asked an assistant if they had any football programmes. She said they turn them down if they are offered as they can never shift them ... Laughing

Never walk past an open charity shop ! You'll never know what will show up.

Programmes rarely appear, but my best charity shop finds were "A Golden Sky", which was a book where a dozen Liverpool players reflected on their most memorable game. Paid £1.99 for it, got it home to find the photos on the centre pages were signed by Rush, Dalglish, Barnes, McDermott, Lawler & Alan Kennedy. Got £40 for that. I also paid £2.95 for a World Cup '90 partwork a couple of months ago, complete, and perfect condition - sold it at the AFC Wimbledon fair for £25.

Very often find decent quality shirts, DVD's & books in charity shops - ALWAYS worth a look

Just heard that two collectors both needed the programme to complete collections.

I wonder how much another copy of the will fetch now that one keen bidder is out of the equation!
