8th October 1961 FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round - Bridlington Town on their way to the 1st Round Proper hammered Wearside League side Bolden Colliery Welfare 11-2 - the short notes on the game had the scribe expecting a "hard tussle".

The club described the issues as "Official Programme and Advertiser". The programme is packed full of adverts with just the centre pages including the team line ups and 6 lines of "Programme Jotting.

35 years ago when Keith were one of the perennial title challengers in the Highland League.
Not so now - it's the clubs who pay the big bucks (Brora Rangers etc) who are turning it into an increasingly lop-sided affair.
Just look at the table
As an aside, in a previous job I used to have to up to Keith once a month to do the accounts for the big laundry located behind one of the goals.
Very good view of the ground from the office but my visits never managed to coincide with a match, sadly!

Single sheet issue for East Grinstead v Chichester from 46 years ago.

I wonder why the home team's right-half was nicknamed "Snitch"?

One of three testimonial matches arranged that year in honour of the legendary Rams striker who had by then, sadly, been afflicted with blindness though was still a regular visitor to the BBG till his death.

A friend of his would sit next to him and commentate for him.

A real club legend.

I'm too lazy to go find out what the AAA stands for after their name

Thanks for the info.
Unusual name for a team.

65 years ago from the home of Steve Earl Smile

Dig the logo - like someone's shot 200 volts into an escaped wolf.

It feels so surreal - typing that 1976 is now all of 39 years ago.
Yet I remember it more than I do, say, last week.
And there are people who weren't born then who are grandparents now.
As I said - surreal.

Scottish Junior Cup replay where my club Blackburn United beat the resurrected Clydebank 4-3 AET. This was Bankies first season in the Juniors. Year was 2003.
