I recently won a lot of friendly / testimonial programmes from an online auction completely by accident - I had left instructions of what to bid on and how much and unfortunately the 8 I had written down looked like a 5 and so I ended up with a lot I didn't intend to.

Now having had a good rifle through tonight, I cannot see anything too exciting there. I've been looking via Ebay and online and just wondered if any of these had any more excitement / value to them. I'm realistic so not expecting much but just wondered if anyone could give any advice...

* The HSV programme is vs Manchester United 31.07.68 - I've seen it with other items quite high and then on its own not so unsure as to whether it has any value.

** HSV vs Southampton - cannot see reference to a date.

They will all go on eBay at some point if anyone is interested.

There were quite a lot of other testimonial fixtures (70's onwards) if anyone wants anything checking.

Can you confirm year of the FA XI v RAF?

The RAF at posh is 1967 I think, I had that one.

There is a fixture list inside for the 1961/2 season so I would trust it is that; also found this online which is the same....

Thanks for the reply. I have already got that one then, wasn't sure if they played at Peterborough another season.

I assume that programme on the website is overvalued!

It looks like a £2.50 programme on eBay on a good day?!

Yes, can't believe that price! I am sure it can be picked up for less than £2, it's not very rare. Some of the Army ones are difficult to find, but even those would tend to be cheaper than £45.
