On this day 1952, Pompey won 5-0 at Bolton....

Nice compact 8 page programme, Adverts on most pages..

What caught my eye was 'Choc-o-Limes'...........nice !!

38 years ago 1977, and a programme that isn't as old as it looks.

A Northern Premier League Clash at a strange and mysterious place, namely Frickley.

What a beautiful programme cover.....did Port Vale go with the same cover for the entire season? I might have to add one of those to the collection just for its good looks!! Cheers for adding that one Derby!! Smile

Unusual one here from this day in 1938.

4 page issue.

FA Amateur Cup qualifying round tie. I don't know the score but the Barclays Bank team appear to playing in a slightly higher standard league than the home tesm.

Wednesday 25th September 1963, ko 3 pm

Football League Cup, 2nd Round

Att: 4,859

Bristol Rovers 2 Crystal Palace 0

An original of this is the 1960's Holy Grail for Palace fans - I've seen them fetch £200 - that was 10-15 years ago. Is that the same now?

The goalless draw here and the subsequent replay win back at the BBG were the games that properly kicked off the Brian Clough era at Derby.

All the testimonials played at the BBG in the 70s had "normal" programmes issued rather than the newspaper issues for league and cup games.

A 1-1 draw in front of 13,202
