How has your club been doing in this window?

Can I ask seriously why was the 'window' brought in?

It seems like chaos every year.

I mean why has it took so long for the De Gea fiasco to get to where it is?

How can top professional clubs allow this to happen?

Thing i find so baffling is why two of the biggest clubs in the world cannot sort out a transfer deal over two months.

Well done Real, covered yourselves in glory again.

As a Spurs fan so pleased we have not been a Real feeder club again this summer but please can we buy a quality striker and a defensive midfielder with experience.

Please with the South Korean chap though

To be honest, the thought of brands (not football cubs anymore) splashing out multi millions on someone who will inevitably flop and then be sold for a much reduced rate elsewhere leaves me totally cold.

Whatever happened to the days when managers actually managed a club, brought on the young players and then looked at integrating them over a certain amount of time? Now all you have is Billy Big Bollocks at some Premiership club buying anyone and everyone they want, farm them out all over Europe, rest players who are crap anyway and then hurriedly go out and buy yet more crap. What's it really all about? Certainly not football any more as we knew it when we were growing up.

Thank god for the non league game.

an absolute circus is what is it - some of the 'analysis' on SSN is beyond cringeworthy and the whole thing becomes more of a joke with each year that passes by.

Unless you are owned by a billionaire you aren't invited to the party, don't exist to the media and are totally forgotten by the footballing authorities.

I see that Chelsea splashed out £4 million on someone and immediately put him out on loan. How many is that they have out on loan now? 20? 30?

I see that Man Utd splashed out the GDP of a small country on someone whilst putting the best striker from their once-vaunted Academy out on loan somewhere.

The principles underlying the above would be concerning for me were I in a position of authority at the FA.

At the risk of sounding xenophobic (which I'm not) I also see a whole host of new players from lands afar entering the League at all levels. Fine. I'm sure they're talented.

But where do the British lads get a game these days?

I suspect we've paid slightly over-the-odds for Johnson and Butterfield. But that's what comes of doing business on the last day when other clubs know you're down to the bare boards in terms of midfield players.

Not complaining though - at least we've steered clear of taking players "on loan". One of my pet hates in today's game.

He once played on loan for us, as one poster put on our forum his first touch in a hawks shirt was falling over the ball.

The 2016-19 television deal has taken the obscenity to a whole new level, if ever we thought that possible. It's entirely the reason for all records being broken in terms of both transfer fees and player salaries.

It's horrible and I'm glad I support football at a level untainted by it.

Mostly the Championship. But even that is under threat with the race to get into the greed league in time for the colossal tv deal

Already struggling with an inferior squad to the rest of league, we failed to add a single player yesterday.

The prediction of conference football by 2017 is very much on the cards.

Not very happy at all.
