Anyone else watch it?

Ghastly format - I thought it was a tribe of zombies stood behind the presenters.

Painful viewing.

It was just bad tv. Jumped from Division to Division with no real order, one minute a League 1 game then back to the Championship.

Asking Martin Allen to commentate on his teams defeat - he wasn't best pleased to be asked to do that!

League tables on big boards like some sort of blue peter totaliser - after 1 game!!!

An audience member starts answering back, but theres no microphone on him so you can't hear!!

An ex Brighton player nobody has ever heard of as a co presenter

A studio nicked from the 1980s

A bloke in the audience dressed head to toe in team kit - ie with playing shorts and socks!! Why???

Bad, just really bad!

I love the idea of The Football League action being shown in a slot before Match Of The Day - its genius.

I for one am not interested in the Premier League garbage.

I think its a real coup for Channel 5, but I was not expecting the format of the show, or the fans, or the jumbling up of the divisions (both Sheffield Wednesday's & Sheffield United's action were on first ?) or the presenters - who are George Riley & Kelly Cates anyway, as I have never heard of them, maybe they are sky rejects ?

I think they have missed a massive opportunity here Confused Confused

i agree as well , also spoilt by having the Supporters standing, and the adverts as well.

The title sequence, or at lest some of it is flimed at Brighton, and my wife/carer and were filmeed to be inn it , but the pictures changed so fast that you barely saw us, a guy in a wheelchair being pushed by his carer.

Didnt ccatch the final credits, MAYBE we.re in that sequence.

Watched until 10 O'clock...........very poor & bloody adverts.

BBC did a far better job in previous seasons......

Only good thing was the timing......before MOTD

George Reilly is a BBC 5 Live's radio presenter, he does Sport on the breakfast show. Not sure what else he does and he has a face for radio.

No idea on the girl though.

i agree the format seems to need sorting out

but at least they have not employed steve claridge, yet

George reilly is a very respected bbc reporter

adam virgo played over 250 games, not much of a pundit though

and Kelly cates, well she was much better known as Kelly dalglish!

What a shocking programme. Who thought up the idea to make a mish-mash of the games? Championship, League 1, then back to the Championship. Utter garbage.

The BBC had the right layout, just a couple of poor pundits and a little too late on tv. Just do the basics C5 and it'll probably be ok.

The timing, in my opinion, matters not this day and age with catch up TV available to all but my concentration began to waiver after two minutes, before pulling the plug come the first advert break.

Always championed the removal of the shocking Manish at the BBC but, as is often said, be careful what you wish for.

Badiel and Skinner next week?

Truly awful TV.

I didn't see it as we didn't arrive home from Gillingham until 10:30, but I understand it has been generally well received within media circles.

Perhaps the running order has something to do with which order Channel 5 actually get them sent to them, like Sky with their programme, goals express on a saturday evening.
