Just a quick query does anyone know why this programme seems a bit rarer than other aways in the same season?

It was a Monday night game as you can see - a rarity back then.
We also had a game at home on the 14th v Oxford Utd.
I wasn't there that night but it's probable that there was a shorter print run than usual because they didn't expect that many fans to turn up - pure speculation on my part.

Many teams in that era had a standard print run for every game

They didn't think ahead and realise United were a guaranteed sell out as everybody went to every game as many were "new" grounds to United fans who had never seen a division 2 ground

As the season went on some teams got wise or did reprints to satisfy demand

I was there too and can tell you it did get a bit hairy on New Cross Gate station after the game, in my attempt to sneak back across the border.

Around 158 on the football special and 3 supporters club coaches..obviously cockney reds etc in attendance but moved to a unheard of Monday night on police advice.
Still compared to millwall who came down on one train, were chased out of Piccadilly station and sought refuge in London road fire station until they were escorted back to Piccadilly and a Euston bound train...
Amazing that millwall average that season was 5,000 and 16,000+ turned up for Uniteds visit....
