Don't have any Barnsley homes pre 1944 but love this one - my oldest Yorkshire non league programme.

1924/25 Amateur Cup Quarter Final Clapton v Hallam





Any other old Amateur Cup programmes would be good to see

A great programme and a great sounding ground " The Old Spotted Dog".
Would be interested to know how the ground got it's name. Was it named after a Pub?

Apparently The Old Spotted Dog Ground in Forest Gate is the oldest senior football ground in London and Clapton FC have played home matches there since 1888.

The grounds were originally part of the Old Spotted Dog Hunting Lodge and later the lodge later became a pub, the Spotted Dog.
