That brought back a few memories - also makes me realise that I should have held onto a lot of these 70s friendly issues having been to the matches. Rather than flogging them all to a dealer.

I remember especially the 73/4 one v Manchester City.
The whole of Pittodrie seemed to be singing that Peters & Lee song "Welcome Home" - Denis Law wasn't half chuffed!

A shame that English clubs have all but stopped visiting AFC for pre-season friendlies....I always hoped that Derby would make an appearance. Ah well, perhaps one day.
