Hi, great idea. The Leyton Orient one brings you onto a Derby page.
I think this is because the 'Derby1884' site also has albums featuring programmes from Leyton Orient, Northampton & Amateur Cup Finals. You'll note on the list that this site is listed under those headings.

Similarly, England, World Cup & the FA Cup are listed but are covered on one site (MisterGas …the goose collection).

When it comes to Leyton Orient, I'm just season 62/3 and ditto Northampton - season 65/6.

Derby County and non-league are my two major Flickr things.

My Flickr site updated with over 170 pre 1976 Stockton home and away programmes including many from the 50’s covering the North Eastern & Midland leagues. You can find a link to the site via the signature below.

Always interested in any pre 1976 Stockton programmes to add to my collection.

Thumbs Up

At the moment I have over 2,000 programme cover scans on my flickr site.
I have scanned all my Aston Villa collection and am currently uploading more to the site on a daily basis.
Also have a collection of Non-League programmes on site.

Could you please add me to the list

Can you add my Newport County badge site to the list too PP?

Cheers mate.

Almost 2,500 photos now, 78k in views, which isn't huge compared to some of the great sites the lads on here have, but still miles more than I ever expected. I'm still adding new stuff to it every week.

Thumbs Up

Hi Jamie,

I have added the recent links mentioned in the thread and sorted out the URL 'mess' - I have taken people's headings in Flickr - Let me know if you guys want yours changed and I can amend.

Jamie feel free to quote my post, and remove the quote info and paste into your original post replacing your text

Excellent work KCS!

Just thinking by looking through the posts to back in 2015-seems a long time ago and since then more members have "bought into" the flickr scenario which although is very hard work to keep it going once it is up and running, it is most gratifying and rewarding when you can stand back to see the fruits of your toils with the hours and hours of boring scanning and photography-but if a job is worth doing.......there is an immense difference between showing off and telling everyone look how much money I have got to buy all of this and genuinely sharing and painstakingly putting something together as a labour of your love for the hobby and letting others see what is available be it a 50p train ticket or a 4 figure scarcity from the year dot.

One thing that I have learned is that there are other MU collectors on flickr who have never been on this forum and have some exceptional items, some of which I never knew existed and I see some of the items I have in a similar vein also popping up elsewhere, so the sharing aspect works for everyone!.

The adage of the harder I work the luckier I get can also be applied to flickr, the more effort you put in the more satisfying the overall result is-well that is how I feel about it.

One last point about flickr that is a mystery to me and I would like to know if others have the same issue, the number of images depends on which page you open!, so if I open it in one format let's say I have a 100 images, in another it is 120 but if you clik on to stats and go to all your images and scroll down THAT is the true number of recorded images you have. Presently I have 3 different quantities?? crazy for sure-maybe someone out there knows why it is like this as I have never bothered to go to their site and ask.

Flickr community-let's keep it going and spread the word for new sites to emerge!

I can only echo what Leslie has said so articulately, and echo also absolutely superb work KCS!!
It looks and reads great. Thanks mate.

Re having your own Flickr Site - I found it a bit daunting at first what with my being a well-known technophobe. The thought of it really, thinking I'd likely make a pig's ear of it and be out of my depth before I'd even began.

But having decided to give it a bash, I surprised (nay, shocked) myself by picking it up very easily, it really is self explanatory once you get started.
I'm not exaggerating in the slightest when I say if I can can master it alone, then anybody can. I'm the guy that's had an iphone for three years and still have no idea how to do anything other than make or take calls on it!

Once I realised I had the hang of it (just 10 or 15 mins in), I've found it incredibly addictive.
Regardless of whether or not anybody else chooses to look at it, it's great to personally flick through and admire your own stash & indeed efforts - like Leslie said. I used to scroll through files on my pc to look (& check) at what I had, but it's so much more pleasurable doing it on Flickr.

However in one way, I am glad I wasn't on there ten years ago.
My collection back then was about 20 times the size of what it is now, and I would have probably died a horrible, scanner-related death.
Such is its addiction.

Very Happy

Haha you're not wrong Leslie.

I bought a new scanner / printer about 3 or 4 years ago thinking my old, 15-year old scanner had to be on its lazzies - yet it's still going!! Bless it.
I've not used the new one once.

It's already outlived two desktop pc's and three laptops!
