18 stalls doesn't sound a lot compared to the London one I went to, what is this fair like?

Also, what is the cost for setting a stall up here for most dealers?

Stallholders so far....... Ewood Progs, P Bailey, A Bowler, R Frowen, M&A Hewitt, Stew Roberts, AP Progs, Ruth Crawshaw, T Roe, G.Jones, N.Fleming, K Weatherer, JD Cross, Soccer History, Mancunia, ...more to follow.....

Pablo ... ones lost! London is the capital so expect more stalls, alot of fairs around the country only operate with 10 or less stalls,,, do you want a stall?

18 stalls is very good.

I can't imagine there are many fairs outside London with more.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was demeaning the fair, I just always regarded this as one of the biggest of the year, and not actually having attended thought more stall holders were present.

As for having a stall, it's a possibility, but with me being on the south Coast and not really prepared its a long shot. Could you give me some more details please?

I think Paul Bailey and Andy Bowler deserve great credit for running so many fairs in the Midlands and North West - usually with at least 14 stalls on every occasion.
That's a good number of stall-holders to recruit -collectors should appreciate that the majority of stall-holders do not take sufficient money at these fairs to make any real profits - many of them are, like myself, doing it as a hobby.
Collectors expecting me to have a stall at this fair should please note that I have withdrawn as the FA have decided to stage an England Under-20 international v USA at Plymouth on that date.
However, I shall have stalls at the following northern fairs: at Accrington this coming Sunday (March Cool, Stafford the following Sunday (March 15) Leeds on April 5, Newcastle-Under-Lyme on May 23 (provided Argyle are not in the League 2 Play-off Final on that date) and Pudsey on May 30.

I would really appreciate a reply on this, with any more relevant information, from anybody please.

I have over 5,000 Man Utd items in my collection, with possibly another 3,000 duplicates and other football memorabilia that I'm on the verge of getting rid of, a fair would be a good chance for me to do this. Cheers.

You have more chance selling them in LONDON as most of their fans come from there.

Pablo........ I've already offered the last remaining 12ft stall to someone, and I'm waiting on his reply before I can offer it to anyonelse, should he be unable to attend I'll PM you.... we do have a 6ft room centre, but that would be a squeeze.

Never collected badges Ollie but I did pick up a few 70s ones in a collection, I'll try to find them, at the bottom of a box somewhere I think!

Pablo, I'm organising the Wiltshire Fair at Swindon on Sunday April 19 (10.30am - 1.30pm) which isn't too far from you.
You're invited to have a stall - we already have 10 stall-holders committed to attend, plus several possibles still to decide.
It's a specious venue, so you'll be very welcome - I've sent a PM with the details.

Found them at the bottom of a huge box filled with some programmes, World Cup memorabilia, books, cards, phone cards, club pencils and all kinds of goodies that I'd forgotten I had! The 3 on the left were actually my dads so I would guess 76-79 as that's when he was a regular at old Trafford, could be wrong. The other 3 are prem era obviously. Thought I had some others but probably not as Im sure they would have been together. Let me know if any interest, cheers.
