Keep checking eBay . Not particularly scarce. Any season before 1955/56 then you're talking serious money |

I have a spare copy, its far from perfect but I'm open to offers on it.
Has a light fold/slight cover creasing, punched holes and rusty staple, no bleeding and no writing throughout and very clean otherwise.

Why don't you include an image and put a min offer price-after all you have been advocating earlier about an auction site on this forum and you were going to start the ball rolling. |

Thanks Leslie, I was going to but I have been rather busier than planned this evening, my daughter is unwell. As for this programme, it's sub-standard to be fair, and although probably still worth more than a fiver, I was only offering it as a reply to a specific reply to a programme needed. Paul. |

in the day this was a £40 programme
It has slipped as have many from this era
An arsewiped one with loose pages has sold on ebay for £17
A good one has sold for £31 and another good one has sold for a maiden bid of £25
There was a buy it now unsold for £30
I think this is now a very fair price and as Bazza has asked
How much do you want to pay??? |

Regardless of what you think eBay is or is not, the current market price for that programme as stated above is between £25 and £31.
Those prices are from sellers on eBay not from a dealers catalogue.
Good luck getting it for 40% of the lowest previous recent sale. _________________ Nuts and Bolts Web Design

Bazza is one more time proven correct about the sort of poster we get on here
A bedroom bandit,by the sound of it comes on and asks about a programme
He is shown where to find it in both good and arsewiped condition, which has it's price adjusted accordingly
He is given last traded prices from ebay which as far as i believe is a market place where all saleable items find their correct level
Then he dismisses that medium as a dealers paradise and loses most of the members of this forum,me included by inviting you to see his "mysterious" shop
Like holtie i'm confused also and look forward with great anticipation to a blimp at his "shop" and it's anticipated gems at knock down, sorry fair, prices

My point is it doesn't matter if the sellers are dealers or Joe Public, the buyer (the collector like you and me) has paid between £25 and £31 in recent times.
I am sure people don't bid more just because the seller is a dealer - on eBay the price will be reached regardless of the seller.
Like I said, good luck on getting it for 40% of the current market value, if you do then in my opinion you have done well.
A genuine question, would you sell me a programme that has recently sold for £100 on eBay (in an auction) the seller is a dealer....Would you accept £40 from me as I assume your not a dealer and therefore would charge a lot less for your programmes? _________________ Nuts and Bolts Web Design

If i see a Pre Munich Manchester United in an auction lot, i want it. And so do many other dealers and i usually end up with around 10% i bid on.
A pre Munich Manchester United away at Sunderland 60 years old for £10 ? You have more chance of watching West Bromwich Albion doing the double. Lets hope you dont want any of the 40s Sunderland v United because you will end up selling your caravan. |
