The FAC semi-final first game was played at Elland Road, with the replay being played at Villa Park and the season was 1929-30, so the game would have been played in 1930 and not 1929.

I hope I can get it to a proper collector. The history is my grandad was a Hull city fan living in Bradford. Not sure what the attendance was for this game.How many would travel in those days.? My grandad was there and must have drifted into BRadford PA later as I found this programme amongst a load of PA programmes. I've emailed ARsenal but they don't seem interested. Thanks for you reply

Hate to say it but this "belonged to my grandfather" "not sure of its value" come-on, not to mention the "niavety" of getting both the year and tournament of the game wrong all seems a very familiar modus operandi.

I tend to also have suspicions due to the League Cup reference. But as naive as I am on these matters, why would anyone seek information on a potentially bogus item? Does this poster potentially have previous similar history under a different name?

A very similar bullshit story appeared and the bloke made off with forum members money if I remember correctly.
Which leads me to think this is the same guy. As always be very careful paying large sums of money to people who post on this site.
Especially when he claims to have something incredibly rare but he has no idea what it's worth . He mixes up dates and competitions to make himself look a novice but he knows exactly what he is up to.

even if they have a scan you still need to be careful. Easy to pull photos from ebay for use later.
