Does the ridiculous scoreline make this programme any more valuable?
I wrote to the club after the game and they sent me a copy.

Probably of more interest is the footage of 19 of the goals which I discovered I still have on a Betamax tape Smile

The Selkirk bench at least had a sense of humour - after the 18th goal goes in, they all stand up and wave white flags in surrender. Their goalkeeper is interviewed after the game. Poor lad (he's no more than about 18 yrs old) is still shell-shocked.

The new years day massacre 1973 programme is worth up to £100, it is down to the fact that many Hibs fans have probably kept it, depriving Hearts & Hibs collectors because very few are coming on to the market.
How many Stirling Albion fans who bought a programme that day, still have it, quite a few, I would think, even if they are not collectors.

Stirling v Selkirk programme is worth £1, there's plenty around.

Hearts v Hibs 1973 fetches £50-£80 depending on condition, it comes on ebay regularly.

Sorry? I'm posting some advice, do you have an issue with that?

1) I tried to sell a Stirling v Selkirk programme recently and listed it several times at 99p with no bids.

2) I'm a Hearts collector who keeps an eye on Edinburgh derby prices.

I think I'm in a position to provide some further information that was being asked for. Wind your neck in.

Give me a link to £1 Stirling v Selkirk, and the common 73 slaughter then if it's on ebay all the time. Nothing Scottish gets past me on ebay, the Hearts humiliation programme comes up no more than six times a year.

Don't understand the repartee, but can confirm the Stirling vs Selkirk programme is common. Have had a few through my hands in my time and they've never fetched more than a couple of quid at most.

I don't understand it either, if you find out let me know Laughing

Aye, think I listed the Selkirk programme three times at 99p and not a sniff, it was more common than I thought.

The 1973 game is one of only four Edinburgh derbies I don't have (the other three are 1940's at Easter Road). I refuse to pay the going rate for that game Laughing I keep an eye out for it though to see if I can grab a bargain. As I said, it comes up fairly often but some of the starting prices are a bit ridiculous at times.

Luckily(or unluckily) got the 0-7 programme with a whole bunch of Hearts homes from the 70's quite a few years back. Would never have bought it Sad
