Just a reminder to everyone about the Fair this Sunday. From 10.30 - 13.00 FREE entry for all + a free 13/14 programme for U16s.

PLYMOUTH ARGYLE:
Includes two highly-collectable programmes printed on different coloured flimsy pulp paper due to supply shortages in 47/48:
• v CARDIFF CITY (Excellent condition, printed on BUFF YELLOW pulp paper, with no obvious defects) (NB Two other coloured pulp papers were used for the programmes for this match: PURPLE and BLUE) £22,
• v BARNSLEY (Good condition, printed on PINK pulp paper, with no obvious defects apart from a faintly apparent possible spine repair) (NB Two other coloured pulp papers were used for the programmes for this match: BUFF MUSTARD and PEACH) £20,
My grateful thanks to well-known Argyle collector Don Smith for his guide to the multifarious coloured papers used by the printer at the time.
