I see u have not as yet been aquainted with Bazza yet from Solihull-but there is time, can you come back and ask for a valuation on anything and within no time he will tear your throat out and give u a good goin over, it is a kind of Forum initiation that is initiated just by him Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Welcome. It's a bit strange. I like collecting Sunderland items from the mid 50s backwards. You start where I finish Laughing

Hi Wullie i orginally started out just going for a programme everygame from last season at Roker Park then all games at the stadium of light. Then i got up in the loft and found i had loafs of programmes all the way back to the 70's. So then i thought i would go back to the season before the 1st relegation in the 50' s.

Nice one. You'll still be able to pick most of them up at reasonable prices. The exemptions will be the two cup winners cup away legs and some friendlies ( if you collect those.)
The supporters shop always had a decent selection but I haven't been for years.
Fairs are a good idea as you could get loads in one go . I was lucky to have the Phil Curtis programme shop and the supporters shop when I was a youngster. eBay is ok ,but the cost of paying postage on single items must be crippling.
Good luck .
