I thought I would get the ball rolling.

It is the fourth home Dundee ever produced, the first in the Scottish cup.

I don't have this programme so no condition to worry about.

I am just curious as I have never seen a copy come up for sale.

Does someone want to have a guess?

Unfortunately the site has no other info on this apart from the score. They've got the programme btw.

I have it in my one per club collection.
I have seen it on a catalogue a few years ago at £125.
I have prices marked when it was on ebay in 2011 and late 2012.
one went for £90 and the other £52.
Good condition should be in the region of £100 to £125

If this was their first ever issue why is there no 4 on the cover?

Good point!

It has been a serious matter for debate amongst Dundee fans.

It is thought that the first might be Utd on 1st January 1947 but no one has confirmed seeing it.

Also it is believed that away fixtures are included so it was 4 games since Utd on New years day.

If the numbering 'system' includes the aways (unusual that though not impossible) then surely another later programme with a number would be able to confirm that point? If so, then no 4 will be no 1. I am not a number I am a free man. Sorry about the last bit, couldn't help myself!

I did have the Dundee v Aberdeen scottish cup programme from the same season but sold it to a Dons collector who frequents this forum.
Unfortunately i have no idea of the issue number, it was dated 29/3/47.
I cant recall any other 46/7 Dundee home issues.

My mistake it is not the first home programme ever produced it was indeed Utd on New Years Day.

It was the 4th as the programme eludes to.

It has been strongly suggested that only the two fixtures against Celtic and Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup are still remaining although programmes for the other fixtures were produced no one has ever confirmed seeing a copy.

Which suggests the print runs we're incredibly low and as such there might not be any left.

Out of interest how much did you sell the Aberdeen programme for, if you don't mind me asking?
