I can't believe sharrow that in the space of a few minutes we both decided to upload a programme from the same season.

What are the odds on that?

Back to 1981 and Lynn play host to Runcorn. The Linnets versus The Linnets!! This was a match in the Northern Premier League which Lynn lost 0-2 in front of 325.
Another uninspiring programme from Lynn, fixtures not updated, very little info

30 years ago and a rather stunning front cover for Mansfield's AMC tie with Darlington, a game the visitors won 3-1.

Unlike many clubs that season in this competition, the Stags published a full 24 page issue which includes an article on "Looking after your programme collection"

It used to be routine - but it's been so long now since Scotland were at a major tournament that I can't remember.

Was it the 1998 World Cup?

Will we ever return?

Back to 1964 and Lynn are at home to Sittingbourne, this is a Southern League fixture. Lynn won the match 8-0 with Sittingbourne scoring 2 own goals. The attendance was 1753.

Standard programme for the season, club notes, fixture lists etc.

Mid-table Derby travel to Roker Park to take on leaders Sunderland this day in 1964.

An impressive 43,945 there to witness a routine 3-0 win for the home team, who would go on to win promotion after just missing out, I think, the season before.

57 years ago (1957) and a 1st Division fixture between Manchester United and Blackpool.

This was a terrific match between the Division 1 title holders and the previous season’s runners up which Blackpool won 2-0 with goals from Perry and Mudie.

Manchester United went on to win the title again with Blackpool finishing 4th.

The programme is a very good 12 page issue.

This day in 1946 and a Central League fixture between Derby and Blackpool.

With due apologies to Bispham here, but a fairly comprehensive 7-2 win for the Rams whose goals came from Shearer (3), Hiatt (2), Walker and Brinton. None of whom ever made it to the first team.

Blackpool's goals came from Hobson and Finan.

4 page programme costing 2d. Club notes and H/T scoreboard on p.2, lineups on p.3 and fixture lists for the 1st XI, reserves and the 'A' team on the rear.

Whoever originally owned this programme must have received a new fountain pen for Xmas.....

Staying with my run of postponed games here's one from 2007.
Rovers v Stockport County was called of due to a waterlogged pitch.

Back 35 years to Wigan Athletic's debut season in the Football League.

They'd made a reasonable start and were lying 6th in the table when they visited Belle Vue, a 1-0 victory keeping them just 6 points behind leaders Reading.

Jeff Wright scored the only goal in front of a crowd of 4,816.

The 16 page programme (nice cover) includes an article entitled "More Snow". The winter of 78/9 had been a bad one and Rovers had seen 5 successive games postponed since the turn of the year.

A few seasons after the example from addicks and this time Charlton Athletic were entertaining Blackpool in a Division 1 fixture.

Same score line though with Blackpool winning 2-1 and both goals coming from Ernie Taylor, one of them a penalty.

The programme is 8 pages with plenty to read and the adverts mainly confined to the centre pages if you ignore the large one on the front.

No date on the cover but Feb 25th, 1974, saw Spartak Moscow visit the Baseball Ground for Terry Hennessey's testimonial match.

14,577 in attendance to witness a 3-1 win for the Russians.

Last I heard, TH had emigrated to Australia.
