damn, I have just read that if scores aren't in by 12.15pm on the Saturday, they are all void! I have been so busy this week, it didn't even enter my mind I needed to input some scores.

As Pablo did not enter any results this week, what happens to our game?

Post subject: The Predictor Cup - Report, Results and last 16 draw
Reply with quote

just a reminder

In the event of a draw the result will be deciding in order by:

Extra time - Points scored with highlighted fixture

Golden goal - First fixture on list to have the score correctly predicted.

Penalties - Countback, Points scored in second half, then ties 4-6, then Match 3, 2 and 1

Shotsman 8-7 Londonlilywhite
The lowest scoring tie by far with neither team managing a correct score. Shotsman enjoying the luck of the Cup.

tufcprogs 9-20 Pastpirate
tufcprogs was the victim of a brutal act of piracy as they were rammed off course. This tie was over by half time as Pastpirate cruised into the next round.

Pablo76 v Burnleycollector
Pablo76 just didn't turn up for this one and despite the Burnleycollector team bus arriving late Laughing, the tie has been awarded to Burnleycollector.

NeilP 14-14 Wrexham (Wrexham win by golden goal)
What a game. NeilP looked to have won it but Wrexham levelled it up on Sunday afternoon. Extra time (Highlighted Fixture) failed to seperate the teams so the golden goal came into play, (i.e the first match to be predicted correctly). Wrexham go thro courtesy of the Liverpool result.

Atletico 15-13 Mattybatty
Another 28 point thriller. Consistency turned out to be the deciding factor with Atletico failing to score in only two of the ties.

Derby1884 12-17 Ruudvandriver

No stopping the big whitemachine known as RVD. It had looked to be all Derby early on as he came out all guns blazing picking up max. points in the 1st two games, but Ruud enjoyed a super sunday by doubling up on the Blades and going through.

gkb 20-13 Eck
Form team gkb continued their recent run by destroying Eck in a barnstorming second half appearance. 5 correct scores in all proved too much for Eck.

gfcPaul 13-12 Sharrowblade
Cracking tie, as Sharrowblade let his little uns pick the scores, but over ruled his youngest on the Stevenage/Everton game and ultimately cost them the tie.

Rockyboro 19-19 Robbo (Rockyboro win in extra time)
Incredible. Robbo scores 19 points and still goes out. is there any justice in the Cup. Not this time. Robbo came out like Usian Bolt with three correct scores in the first three games but Rocky caught him with a knockout blow, which proved a double whammy as Southampton/Yeovil scored a max. six points and that decided the tie.

Superajm 15-23 Greatbarrwolf
Another high scoring bonanza. Superajm can count himself unlucky as he was devoured by the big bad wolf.

Coolascustard 16-11 SurfinJim
SurfinJim's disappointing season continued with another lacklustre performance where they never got going. Good result for Coolascustard to keep their season alive.

kcs 17-10 DannyRoberts
A classic Leeds v Chelsea encounter conjuring up memories of fearsome battles between Osgood and Hunter, Harris and Lorimer, Dennis Wise and himself. Kcs had four correct scores whereas DannyRoberts failed to get one and that was ultimately the difference.

Sellsell39 11-15 Kenners46
Kenners kept their season alive with a good solid performance wheres Sell sell39 is left to fight it out for a play-off place.

barrett 11-14 JJprogrammes
Barrett showed remarkable consistancey correctly predicted 10 correct outcomes but unfortunately no correct ones. JJ managed two and again this swung the outcome.

Bisphamseasider 13-11 SaintClarkie
They've been waiting a long time for their debut, and they didn't disappoint, although at half time they trailed by 4. Another Super sunday with the Blades turned it around and a passage into the last 16.

The draw for games to be preicted on the 15th/16th february

kcs (Leeds United) v Coolascustard (Derby County)

Bisphamseasider (Blackpool) v Atletico (Aston Villa)

gfcPaul (Gillingham) v Kenners46 (Crystal Palace)

Wrexham (Wrexham) v Ruudvandriver (Leeds United)

Drvonshineck (Leyton orient) v Greatbarrwolf (Wolves)

gkb (Sheffield United) v Burnleycollector (Burnley)

Shotsman (Aldershot) v Pastpirate (Bristol Rovers)

Rockyboro (Middlesbrough) v JJprogrammes (Fulham)

Thanks very much for understanding, it's been the first time in three years of playing the game that I haven't had chance to enter my predictions on time!

Oi!
Robbo only got 18. He was comprehensively thrashed out of sight.
