I have two copies of the postponed game between Tottenham and Sheff Wed from the 84/85 season.

Only managed to get hold of them by phoning up the printers, (Maybank) who kindly sent me two copies through the post.

Anyone know how rare this particular programme is?

Sorry to say but not much, £5 maybe a bit more although dealers will ask £20. The only rare recent Spurs homes postponed are in the late 60's 67/8 I think versus QPR and Burnley all the others are fairly easy to find.

Just shows how strange ebay prices can be I put one on ebay a couple of years ago and got £3 something!! Prices vary so much it just depends more on luck than anything else unless the item is really rare.

Can't see the problem with a request for the odd valuation.

After all this is a football programme website and forum.

The info is out there anyway if people knew how to use google. Thumbs Up

It's been said many times, selling on Ebay is definitely pure luck and depends primarily on who happens to watching at the time.

It is just annoying when you sell something for a couple of quid one week and then next week you see the same thing, possibly in lesser condition, going for considerably more.

I know the feeling. I got about £50 for a mint condition Spurs brochure covering the games in Cyprus 68, I think, signed very neatly by Jimmy Greaves. A month later a creased one not in the same league went for double that. I suppose it works both ways though.

That 67/8 postponed Spurs home against Burnley (6 January off the top of my head) is a proper rocking horse sh!t programme! Don;t suppose you happen to have a spare copy Basil...??

Thanks Thumbs Up

Been collecting on and off for around 35 years.

For my sins, I am a Spurs season ticket holder (as is my daughter)

My first visit to the Hawthorns was on the 7th October '78 - still got the match ticket - and of course the programme.

Methinks we were the only team to do the double over the Baggies that season.

Yes I remember it was you that stopped us winning the league that season.. The match v Spurs that sticks in my mind was us winning 4-2 after being 0-2 down at half time..

Yup - remember that game well Sad

Peter Taylor made a scoring debut for us. You also beat us at WHL. With I think Bryan Robson notching one the goals in a 2-0 victory.
