This week represents a third of the season. JJprogrammes continue to set an incredible pace. Victory this week would make it 10 out of 10 and well on the way to cementing a place in the end of season play-offs.
Both conferences are very tight when it comes to the play-off positions, any team no matter how far back can suddenly emerge as contenders if they can string 2 or 3 consecutive wins together. Here we have a look at this weeks fixtures and match ups
Should be an absolute corker
Palace v Arsenal
London derby. One manager, is an articulate thinker the other is Wenger.
Villa v Everton
The martinez revolution continues at pace, whilst Villa remain unpredictable.
Manchester United v Stoke City
I was at Stoke's Academy this weekend and the staff there had nothing but praise for United old boy Sparky and said he was taking them places. he certainly is....the Championship.
Norwich City v Cardiff City
A tale of two cities, both with managers high on the list as the next to go. Important game for both.
Sunderland v Newcastle United
Poyet's blunderland v France Reserves.
Chelsea v Manchester City
No need to say anything about this one.
Barnsley v Wendy
Wow, the Dingles v the Massive. Dave Moans has been talking about how fantastic the team are playing and that they are being robbed by officials every week. A new protest group in S2 has been set up 'Keep Jones In'
Huddersfield v Leeds
Another tasty West Yorkshire Derby. Could be high scoring this one, epecially in the number of arrests.
Burnley v QPR
Top of the table clash. harry's royals pitch up at rain lashed Turf moor. Will they fancy a cold saturday afternoon in burnley. Lets face it would anyone?.
Bradford City v Wolves
Another cracking encounter, big crowd expected for this one.
Hibs v Aberdeen
Its not proper football,
but good draw for the men in green last weekend whilst the Dons keep grinding out results.
Barca v Real
'El Classico' comes to the Prediction League. A saturday night treat with bale and Co taking on Messi and two pensioners in Xavi and Iniesta.
THE MATCH UPS
Barrett v NeilP
Both currently struggling but Barrett will take heart on a vital win last weekend.
Superajm v Burnleycollector
A number of narrow defeats is no consolation for Superajm as they take on the enigma which is Burnleycollector, sometimes brilliant sometimes poor. Which will turn up?
SurfinJim v Sharrowblade
A proper Steel City Derby. Owl v Blade. Ugly v Good looking. Jimbo is back on the winning trail and is now hunting the play-off contenders. Sharrow was poor last weekend and the unbeaten start crashed and burn. Could be the start of the all too familiar slide down the table.
JohnnyP v Mattybatty
4th v 5th in the Northern Conference. Equal number of points. A Leeds derby, so naturally it'll be dirty
Coolascustard v JJprogrammes
After ending Sharrowblade's unbeaten start, Coolas gets a crack at the Invincibles of JJprogrammes. Can JJ make it 10 ot of 10?
Kcs v Atletico
The Northern leaders take on Atletico. Kcs have been relentlessly good so far whilst atletico have been relentessly bad.
Pastpirate v Gkb
Both teams just outside the play-offs after a disappointing weekend.
Kenners46 v DannyRoberts
Kenners gets the gimme this weekend
Eck v Shotsman
Both newcomers are in and out of the play offs from week to week. But promising starts by both
Wrexham v tufcprogs
tufcprogs took over from winless toffeedan last week and a change of fortune was immediate. Wrexham have been doing great in their inaugural season and are currently consolidated in the play-off positions.
Robbo v Lincolnredman
Both currently outside the play-offs but both made them last season. Both will now be looking to kick on.
Pablo76 v Drvonshineck
Again both will be looking to put last weekend's performance behind them.
SaintClarkie v gfcPaul
Just a solitary point seperates them. Saint Clarkie is the play-offs, gfcpaul one place outside. Good Sothern Conference match up.
Sellsell39 v Derby1884
Ipswich's finest continue to progress well and come face to face with the erratic Derby1884.
Greatbarrwolf v Ruudvandriver (match of the Day)
Two Perennial play off challengers, Greatbarrwolf is on the prowl and goes head to head with Ruudvandriver who has slipped up recently.
Londonlilywhite v Rockyboro
Londonlilywhite became the first team to score 100 points and currently all alone in second place in the Southern Conference. The North's boro are currently 8th with their eyes intent on the play-offs.
